"I recently played at the Strawberry Hill GC for the first time. It was one of the best golfing experiences I have had in London and I cannot recommend the club highly enough.
The club is tucked away in central Twickenham and although it was very easy to find, it was a complete surprise to see how carefully it had been constructed considering the limited space available.
From the moment I arrived everyone was exceptionally friendly and I can tell you from experience this is definitely not the case at all golf clubs when a non-member turns up to play.
During our round members were friendly and courteous throughout, even giving us tips on how to play holes and their friendly nature continued as we went to the clubhouse afterwards.
The course itself was an excellent, challenging 9 holes which is perfect for a round before or after work and I will definitely be returning to the course. I have already recommended it to several work colleagues as well as
to all of my golfing friends in London.
I look forward to playing at Strawberry Hill Golf Club again.
"We had a wedding at the club on the 22nd of September 2012, the guests that attended were in awe of how well the club was decorated, it made the day very special.
I would like to thank the bar staff whom performed their duties above and beyond the call of duty, they were exceptional. I would like mention David, your steward who was a credit to the club.
The food was exceptional and again thanks to Adrian and his catering staff who were tremendous.
So again thanks to everyone who made the day so special.

"We had the most fantastic Society day . The team really enjoyed the whole day including the facilities. The club and course were truly amazing.
"The course is lovely, but challenging and it is fantastic for those who want to play a quick round. It is nice to see a 9 hole course that isn't all par 3. It's a tight course, but cleverly laid out so you don't feel cramped.
"I always enjoy playing at Strawberry Hill. It's a surprisingly tricky and challenging course despite being only 9 holes where you need to be accurate off the tee, and your short game needs to be on top form to score well.
The members are an incredibly friendly bunch who welcome visitors with open arms, so if you want a fun round with friends or a relaxed corporate day with none of the stuffiness of some other clubs in the area, then this is the place.
Recent changes to the course and the clubhouse will only improve the experience, and Peter Buchan is always keen to give you a good deal in the pro shop.?
"Normally playing my golf on the open fairways at Royal Mid Surrey, it is a delightful challenge to be invited to play on the tight but picturesque 9 holes at Strawberry Hill G.C. , tucked away where you don't expect to find a golf course. For the medium handicapper the long par threes and narrow fairways put one's accuracy and course management to a severe test but you don't forget the reward of a welcome drink and good company in the friendly Clubhouse when it is over.
