OUT OF BOUNDSA ball coming to rest beyond all white posts or the perimeter of the course will be deemed to be out of bounds. A ball coming to rest in the flower bed behind the practice putting green is out of bounds. TROLLEY BAYSA ball coming to rest within any defined trolley bay may be lifted and dropped, without penalty, one club length from the nearest point of relief, not nearer the hole. DEFINED PATHSRelief may only be taken from the paths listed below
| TEMPORARY GREENS, ETC.The ball must be lifted and dropped off the practice putting green and all marked temporary greens. WATER HAZARDSThe margins of the water hazards are marked with yellow posts. Rule 26 applies. A ball landing on a bridge may be played as it lies, or deemed to be in the hazard. FIXED SPRINKLER HEADSAll fixed sprinkler heads are immovable objects and relief may be obtained under rule 24-2. STONES IN BUNKERSStones in bunkers are movable obstructions. Rule 24-1 applies. STAKED TREES AND FLOWERBEDSStaked trees are deemed immovable obstructions. Relief must be taken under rule 24-2. Relief must be taken from all planted areas and flowerbeds on the course. AERATIONThrough the green a ball which comes to rest in or on an aeration hole may be lifted without penalty, cleaned and dropped or, if the ball lies on the green, placed as near as possible to the spot where it lay but not nearer the hole. |
DRESS CODE
- No Jeans, Tracksuits, Gym, Training or Work Wear
- No trainers - only recognised golf shoes
- No T-shirts - all shirts must have a collar
- All shorts must be smart and be worn with predominantly white socks
- Shirts must be tucked into trousers
- N.B. Ladies may wear tops without collars and may wear their tops outside their shorts, skirts and trousers, providing they are recognised golf clothing
